Entrance & Exit Counseling

First time borrowers of the Federal Direct Student Subsidized and Unsubsidized loans are required to complete loan entrance counseling.

Loan entrance counseling should take you 30-45 minutes to complete.

Exit Counseling

Exit counseling is required when you are no longer enrolled or drop below half-time enrollment. For most students, you will complete the exit counseling when you graduate.

After you have submitted the ‘Exit Counseling’ the results can take up to 24 hours before DeHart Technical School is notified.

Student Loan Ombudsman

Have a question about Title IV federal student aid or one of the services the Department of Education provides? Contact one of our Customer Service Centers or Federal Student Aid Offices.

The Ombudsman Office is a final resource after individuals look for help through other customer service avenues.
